Lisbeth Kaufman
Climate Tech AWS, 2x Startup Founder, Former Senate Staffer
Her mission is to help the best Climate Tech startups succeed and reverse the global climate crisis. Her team has technical resources, market support and connections to help climate tech startups overcome obstacles and grow.
Lisbeth was founder and CEO of KitSplit.com, a collaborative economy company called "the Airbnb of cameras" by Forbes, and LucidHome.co, easy-to-understand reports on local climate risks. Prior to becoming a founder, Lisbeth worked in climate policy as an energy, environment and agriculture advisor in the U.S. Senate. There she created a pioneering energy efficiency improvement program and drafted a clean energy bill for farmers that passed.
Lisbeth holds a BS from Yale and an MBA from NYU Stern, where she was a Dean's Scholar. As a mentor at Techstars and EIR at Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, Lisbeth helps startups with product, growth, fundraising, as well as making strategic connections with teams at AWS and Amazon.
