New partnership between The Real Eco State and eGreen

The Real Eco State and eGreen initiate an innovative process in Chile of verification and issuance of Carbon Credits for the conservation of forests in Patagonia, which involves digitizing and verifying the carbon sequestration capacity (CO2e) of forests with blockchain technology.

The studies and verifications of the forests are carried out by 3 parties in collaboration; on the one hand, the WeConserv Foundation, which has worked in the conservation of approximately 6,000 hectares in the Patagonian area. 000 hectares in the Patagonian area, which contain a large percentage of virgin forests that have been capturing and storing atmospheric carbon for hundreds of years and whose annual contribution will now be verified technologically; a second party that verifies the studies is NASA and the University of Maryland with the GEDI project, which aims to create the most accurate mapping of the planet's forests through the use of drones and satellites; and finally eGreen, who digitizes and verifies the data from LIAR sensors, satellites and data intelligence to quantify and register the data in blockchain in real time; in this way, between the 3 parties obtain a reliable and real analysis of the capture of CO2e from forests, allowing to issue carbon credits backed with the data obtained, which allows transparency of the quantification and quality of carbon credits.

The measurement with science-based technology, allows transparency and real-time quantification of the amount of carbon captured and stored by the forests, generating the issuance of high quality carbon credits. In this way, the buyers and owners of The Real Eco State lots will receive resources and ownership of the carbon credits, which will be used to generate income for the owners to finance forest conservation and benefit the communities surrounding the projects.

All this information is verified and tokenized as carbon credits, which will be available on our eGreen.com platform, to facilitate and make transactions transparent as a green financial tool for investment and/or use them to offset company emissions.

This is a very valuable initiative as its goal for 2024 is to accelerate the protection of Patagonia's forests and the reduction of 1 million tons of carbon, hoping to generate a positive impact of 1 million tons on the environment and contributing to a sustainable economy.

Data > Chile registers 105 million tons of CO2e emitted according to the last accounting of 2021. And the world emitted 40.6 billion tons of CO2e in 2022.

eGreen, on the road to a greener future.
